How to Edit About Me on Blogger

Well, as they say, change is inevitable. It is okay not to like what you have on your blogger account anymore, more so what the public see about you. That is why you need to change the content in the ‘about me’ section to something more desirable. Besides, this is the section that will attract potential traffic to your blog.

As the blogger blog owner, you should display, edit, and identify your profile. Your readers should know it is your work; hence have practical details of you. Lucky for you, it takes only a few minutes to get everything ready to what you want.

Select Your Profile

Remember that the information on your blogger account is derived from your Google account. So if you need to change it, you should do that from your Google+ or Google account. Better still, you can create a Blogger-specific profile.

1. Log in to blogger.
2. In the left menu, click on Settings or User settings.
3. Under “General,” just next to “User Profile,” select your preferred profile type; Blogger or Google+.
4. In the top far right, click ‘Save Settings.’ Ensure you do this not to lose your new settings.

Remember that you only have access to one profile for all blogs you are sharing.

Use a Blogger-Specific Profile

1. Log in to Blogger.
2. Go to the left menu tab and click on Settings or User settings.
3. Under “General,” just beside “User Profile,” select “Blogger.”
4. In the top far right, click ‘Save Settings.’

Edit Your Blogger Profile

1. Log in to Blogger.
2. In the left menu tab, click on Settings or User settings.
3. Under “General,” beside “User Profile” and under “Blogger,” click on ‘Edit.’
4. Make your preferred changes by adding or deducting anything.

Display Your Profile on Your Blog

1. Log in to Blogger.
2. Next to your blog heading, in the top far left, click on the arrow pointing ‘Down.’
3. Select your preferred blog you wish to update.
4. Go to the left menu tab and click on ‘Layout.’
5. Select a favorable spot on the page you want people to see your profile and click ‘Add a gadget.’
6. Choose a profile gadget. Remember that any profile you choose to share to blogs is where the Profile gadget will show; that is either the Blogger profile or Google+ profile.
7. Just beside your ideal choice of profile, click ‘Add.’
8. Select your settings.
9. Click Save.
10. Then in the top right, click ‘Save Arrangement.’
