Guest Judge: Laura Marney

Laura Marney is the author of numerous short stories and four novels: No Wonder I Take a Drink, Nobody Loves a Ginger Baby, Only Strange People Go to Church and My Best Friend has Issues. She also writes for stage, radio and television. She is a member of the Glasgow G7 group of writers which includes Alan Bissett, Nick Brookes, Rodge Glass, Alison Miller, Zoë Strachan and Louise Welsh. Originally brought up in Glasgow, Laura now teaches at the University of Glasgow’s prestigious Creative Writing Programme.
