Guest Judge: Lucy Luck
Literary agent Lucy Luck started in publishing in 1997, and worked for over 8 years at Rogers, Coleridge and White Ltd. In 2006, she set up Lucy Luck Associates, an agency focusing on writers of quality fiction and non-fiction. During her time at RCW she was fortunate to work with many talented writers including Julie Myerson, Anne Enright, Bernard MacLaverty, Miles Kington, Stella Tillyard, Richard Overy, Lisa Jardine, and Donna Tartt. Her interests tend towards edgy, thoughtful fiction and quirky non-fiction, although she has found there are always exceptions to any rules. In 2008, Lucy Luck Associates joined with Aitken Alexander Associates as an associate agency. Her clients include: Adam Thorpe, Catherine O’Flynn, Richard Beard, Ron Butlin, Rupert Wright, Will Ashon, Kevin Barry, Jess Richards, Greg Baxter.
