Welcome to Story.Book!
Story.Book is a collection of prize-winning fiction which represents a year’s worth of Unbound Press and Spilling Ink Review literary competitions. From the surreal to the sublime, this anthology includes short stories and flash fictions that have the dexterity to provoke, the audacity to inspire and the ability to plain-old entertain.
Special thanks to Laura Marney, Elizabeth Reeder and Zoë Strachan for serving as Guest Judges. I’d also like to thank our ‘anonymous’ judging panel. From the first to the last entry you have the unenviable task of selecting a long-list and your close reading is invaluable. Finally, I offer my sincere appreciation to all the writers who participated in our competitions. It is, after all, your creativity that makes our efforts successful and I think that is exampled by the excellent prose contained within this anthology.
