Phillip Sheahan

Phillip Sheahan was born and brought up in Australia but it wasn’t until he settled in the UK that he started to write fiction. Theatre interests led him to writing for the stage – plays, sketches, performance pieces followed. Notable successes have included Soapsud Island an innovative reminiscence play written for the Questors Theatre, London. Phillip also enjoys writing short stories and haiku and believes that the discipline of writing poetry is an excellent stepping stone to writing flash fiction. ‘The Tattooist’ is his first attempt at the genre for a competition.
