Wayne Lee Gay‘s work appears in Spilling Ink: Volume 1 and the Unbound Press & Spilling Ink Review anthology, Story.Book. He recently completed the Ph.D. in creative writing at the University of North Texas, where he currently teaches in the English Department. His fiction has appeared in Swell, descant, SN Review, and Spilling Ink Review, and his poetry has been published in New Millennium Writings and in the anthology The Weight of Addition. He won first prize in the 2010 Saints and Sinners short fiction contest, was the winner of the 2010 Frank O’Connor Short Fiction Award, and the 2011 David B. Saunders Prize for Creative Nonfiction. His work also appears in Best Gay Stories 2011. He contributes classical music reviews and commentary regularly to frontrow.dmagazine.com and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 1990.
