Peter Jordan was for many years a professional actor in both Britain and Italy, where he toured for several years with TAG Teatro of Venice. Fluent in Italian, he has translated two plays – The Flatterer and The Gambler – by Carlo Goldoni. He is a world authority on the Italian Commedia dell’Arte and is in the process of looking for a publisher for his doctoral thesis on the origins of the mask of Pantalone. Currently, he is Head of Acting at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He is also very active directing, acting and composing music for the local theatre community.
