Louise Hume

Louise Hume‘s work features in By Invitation Only: A Collection of Short Stories and Loose Leaves: Unbound Press Literary Competition Anthology Volume 1. She is from Wakefield but now lives in Brighton where she co-runs ‘Short Fuse’ a monthly live-lit cabaret night that celebrates short stories and the people who write them.  She has organised writing workshops and performances in charity shops, theatres and rock festivals.  She has had work published in magazines, such as Herstoria, Jane Austen’s Regency World and the French Literary Review, newspapers, music fanzines and short story anthologies.  Her first play ran for three nights at Crawley’s Hawth Theatre in 2008.  She also works as a guide in Brighton Museum and the Royal Pavilion.
