Kenny Mooney

Story.BookKenny Mooney was born in Berlin in 1978, in the same hospital used to treat Rudolph Hess. He grew up in various parts of England and Scotland, and spent 1984 to 1987 living in Cyprus. He began writing stories at about 12, and between the ages of 13 and 19, wrote four truly terrible novels. After 10 years working in financial services, the banking crisis gave him an excuse to escape and spend more time on important things, like writing. Kenny’s short fiction has appeared online in > kill author, Spilling Ink Review, Metazen and Emprise Review, and in the print journal Fractured West. In 2011 his story ‘Cyanophobia’ was shortlisted in the Spilling Ink Review Short Fiction competition and appears in the Story.Book anthology. He can be contacted at www.dragline.co.uk.
