Trina Beckett‘s work appears in Loose Leaves. She lives in Cornwall and has rediscovered a passion for writing. She recently won first prize in a Writers’ News short story competition and has had articles published in Miniatures Magazines, Travel Magazines and Cornwall Today. Her short stories have been highly commended, and she reached the third round of the Brit Writers’ Awards. She works as a 1-1 tutor in schools and higher education. In her spare time, Trina enjoys coastal walking, travelling and playing the drums. She has been happily married for 35 years to military historian Ian, has two grown up children and three adorable grandchildren.
